This project was very spontaneous because I didn’t took the time to prepare for the subjects that the workshop provided for us so I was really lucky to find somebody at the last minute who was willing to be photographed and give me his time.
Also I have a pretty good feeling with artist in general but in life you never know…
I normally choose black&white because I am more comfortable and drawn to it, but for this essay I shot in colour thinking it would be more logical since Julieth paints in colour.
Julieth paintings are abstract maybe a little bit Basquiat in a way even if he doesn’t want people to see that. He paints in a dancing manner which gave me the possibility of showing some action during my experience with him.
In conclusion I had a really fun experience with this project and I also had the opportunity to meet someone really interesting.
