Kalle Koponen is a staff photojournalist with a major Finnish newspaper, a generalist photographer covering anything from breaking news to long reportage. Koponen started his career as a reporter and a correspondent, but moved later to visual storytelling.
Street photography is not my usual genre and I was happy to explore Amsterdam in this framework. The series is but a sketch of a narrative.The workshop convinced me of a need for a structured and organized approach even in the supposed randomness of street photography.
