I once had a man named Zeek declare that I am pound for pound the greatest rock thrower in the world, but there is no real way to know if he is right About a decade ago I was on the internet looking for other people who enjoy toy cameras and I came across the work of David Burnett.
I have been visiting his website and following his career since and am an admirer of his working methods as much as I am of his work so when I saw he was teaching a workshop I was eager to meet him and see what I could absorb.
In this project it is my aim to chronicle the training of the Flying Men of Paris. These couple dozen men are attempting to take the next step in human evolution, unaided flight. I believe that once they begin their flights these photos will be an important document of how they did it. It is my hope that these photos will one day hang in the Aerospace Museum near the photos of the Wright Brothers at Kitty Hawk, and the photos of the Apollo Missions.
