Photographed in Amsterdam during a workshop with Todd Hido, these portraits focus on observing natural light and responding instinctively to the people I encountered. The work is exploratory rather than thematic; an exercise in seeing and reacting in the moment. Amsterdam itself, with its atmosphere and textures, offered an inspiring backdrop. Absorbing this environment and Todd’s own cinematic sensibilities is what allowed these portraits to come to life.
