In making this series, I wanted to capture the atmosphere of the place. The colours, sometimes bold, sometimes barely there, became a way of holding its mood — caught between the everyday and the escape, between routine and reverie.
Tatiana Della Vedova is a Dutch/Italian photographer based in Amsterdam, graduated from the Fotoacademie in Amsterdam in December 2019. In her work she’s interested in the relationship between time, place and memory. How one thing influences the other, how a certain place can evoke different feelings in different periods of time and for different people. Her way of exploring this is by telling stories. Stories where place, time and memory merge together.
