Ambient feeling

by Nina Tulp (The Netherlands)

I’ve always wanted to post process a complete wedding in black and white. It’s a good lesson in killing your (beautifully coloured) darlings and a lesson in combining the three values: light, composition and moment. The serie shows a warm and calm mood and it seems like this atmosphere is keeping the people in the picture together. Connection is a word that comes te mind when you look at the images. The black and white make this feeling stronger.
