Portrait was such an issue to me. As a photographer, one regularly get assignments to photograph someone whether it is for a magazine or communications purpose. And in fact I have always felt more comfortable going with the flow than constructing an image. How to keep spontaneity, simplicity while spending intimate time and photographing someone?
The workshop with Richard Dumas was the occasion to re-discover the basic pleasure and excitment of photography.
