ELISABETH BIONDI
Visuals Editor and Independent Curator
Ms. Biondi started working at GEO Magazine, she was the Director of Photography at Vanity Fair and STERN. She then worked as Visuals editor of the New Yorker for 15 years, where she has helped shape the look of the publication by establishing a group of staff photographers, commissioning both ‘Masters’ and emerging talent.
Ms. Biondi works now as an Independent Curator, she has curated exhibitions for the NY PhotoFestival, Steven Kasher and Howard Greenberg Galleries. She is a columnist for PHOTOGRAPH Magazine. She was a juror for the World Press Photography and the Sony World Photography Awards and numerous others worldwide.
She is also co-founder and teacher of the yearly ‘The Photography Master Retreat’ and most recently was a juror in Sky Arts ‘Master of Photography’ reality tv series.
