The Bar Floreal is a partner of Eyes in Progress and will host the 2012 Paris based workshops in the premises of their photo collective offices in the 20th arrondissement. Le bar Floréal.photographie occupies what had been an old fashion café located next to the Park of Belleville in Paris. Founded in 1985, Le Bar Floreal Photographie counts 13 photographers today. It has signed several reportages and organised many photographic projects. Alongside its exhibitions programme, Le Bar Floréal produces constantly renewed collective as well as individual points of view in which the revelancy and the meaning of the image is the most important element, along with the question of its future. Webdocu.fr is a partner of Eyes in Progress. They will shoot the videos of the Paris workshops in 2012.
The internet today features many kinds of reportage; web documentaries combining traditional video with edited still photography and sound, as well as animated slide shows.
