Gorli

by Alice Oldenburg (Kenya)

Faces of Berlin Gorlitzer park lies in the heart of East Berlin in one of the most hip and alternative areas – Kreuzberg. Gorli, as the locals call it, attracts a huge diversity of people through its gates; from drug dealers to hipsters to university students, families, immigrants and many more.

These portraits provide a snippet of life in Berlin; diverse, multicultural, alternative and of course crazy. Anything goes in Berlin, you can do and be whoever you want to be.

Portfolio from the Visual storytelling workshop with Ron Haviv, May 2015.
